Could Firestorm transmute Adamantium?

Firestorm transmuted air into promethium.

Well as Adamantium can only be found in liquid to make solid it might have an impossibility in functionality that prevents transmutation.
For example it can cut Magneto and yet the speed of the strike is relevant. So maybe there’s a timeframe limit like atomics that Adamantium is proof from.

Promethium has two variations, depleted and volatile.

Cyborg is made out of depleted promethium and he still gets anally raped all the damn time, with his bionic parts offering little resistance.

Volatile Promethium's properties include absorbing/channeling/amping energy --- now that is pretty useful.

Slade's swords are prometheium, no? They seem pretty much indestructible, with no upper limit on energy absorption.

Better than secondary adamantium at least.

I think it's fair to believe that the intent of the creator of promethium was to create a DC equivalent to adamantium.
