Transgender and Gay people have often also been misrepresented by Trolls this way. The play book often has the Troll put an extra layer by giving there character a job like Teacher, Policeman or member of the armed services.
Facebook removed a troll farm doing exactly this 2020
It's now become common practice fo do this for Right wing trolls. Accounts which previously were not defined by race or being trans etc. Suddenly would be as this become common practice.

People have been pretending to be something else on the internet for decades now; this is nothing new.
I just hope this isn't a "there are no bad x kind of people" thread.

It's why as the links show social media kick them off. With what's happening to the Jan 6 gaslighters. I think online hatemongers propagating false narratives need to be very careful where they do it. The FBI are starting to come after individual gaslighting trolls. All these people need to be careful.

Anyone that's actually doing it obviously needs to be punished. I don't see how anyone could disagree with that.
