Why would they cheat in an election they were going to win anyways. The recall never had a chance considering Newsome isn’t particularly unpopular to begin with.
And we can just look at demographics to see which way a state is sliding. Texas going blue eventually isn’t just a random assessment but based on what people are moving into that state. It’s a lot of Hispanics and liberal minded people from California who are being replaced by even more liberal people from New York.
There’s no reason to think California will go red anytime soon.
