He can mind control him. He's done it simultaneously to Ben Grimm, Logan, Cap and an entire town (plus Hawkeye). That's his best feat which I will dickride to oblivion lol.

Thanks for the lesson. I wasnt aware that he even possessed that ability. I hate Venom and Carnage so I never really followed them. I do have Spiderman 361 (newstand), 362, and 363 and those prices are rising nicely, so i'm glad people do like them though.

Surfer is not exactly a guy who is hard to control or manipulate --- it takes very little to use him for your own purposes. Planet Hulk is another example, he loved being a slave.
