'Calling it payback shows it's premeditated': Unite the Right organizers go on trial for planning violence.

The orgy of fascist violence that exploded in Charlottesville, Va. during the event known as Unite the Right on Aug. 11-12, 2017 provided a shocking manifestation of the polarization, division and scapegoating projected by Donald Trump during his ascent to power.

It's been more than four years since white supremacists led a torchlit march to the Rotunda at the University of Virginia, surrounding counter-protesters whom they kicked, punched and struck with torches, while local officials and visiting faith leaders huddled in fear in a nearby church on Aug 11. The following morning, they marched through the streets of Charlottesville chanting, "Jews will not replace us,"

The last four years are a glitch, time to resign these people to the shadows again.

Rightists bad?

*yawn*

No, they were an angry, spontaneous, decentralised response to a murder. Charlottesville was something else...

Yup.

More deflection.

The Left is desperately trying to make people forget about the riots last summer.

No, but you can push that narrative from the Blaze, the majority of the US will never fall for it.

Here you go Wikipedia

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifa_(United_States)

Antifa (/ænˈtiːfə, ˈænti(ˌ)fə/) is a left-wing, anti-fascist and anti-racist political movement in the United States. As a highly decentralized array of autonomous groups, antifa uses both nonviolent and violent direct action to achieve its aims rather than policy reform.[1][2][3] Much of antifa political activism is nonviolent, involving poster and flyer campaigns, mutual aid, speeches, protest marches, and community organizing.[4][5][6] They also engage in protest tactics, seeking to combat fascists and racists such as neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other far-right extremists. Antifa's willingness to directly confront far-right activists (and in some cases, law enforcement) is a departure from other leftist opposition movements.[2] This confrontation sometimes involves digital activism, doxing, harassment, violence, and property damage against those they identify as belonging to the far right.[7]

Sounds pretty heroic to me!

Wahoo wiki for the win, vice did alot of news on antifa years ago including their infamous black block and how they operated, gaslight someone else.

I know, I know it's far more pedestrian than you guys on the Discords likely sources, and all the better for it. 🙂

Vice is a left leaning news source, they have documented antifa across europe, get better. 😱

What surprises me though is no one saying trying fascists is a good thing, instead just deflect to another group. Why is that?
