Facebook's DNS records withdrawn

Facebook's DNS records appear to have been removed from the global routing tables, which effectively means that Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp cannot be contacted by users' browsers in order to get onto the sites.

It remains unclear why or how this has happened. Due to Facebook's size, though, only someone at Facebook would have been able to stop running the DNS.

Funny enough, Rightist are cheering the whistleblower that exposed Facebook, the same people who wanted whisteblowers jailed when Trump was in office. Funny how that works.

Ironically, had they simply done the right thing in the first place, they would have avoided all of the federal regulations they will certainly now be facing.
