The first movie was okay, but severely overrated.

I only saw the first sequel and it was shit. I never bothered with the rest.

Oh ok, Scream 4 was 11 years after 3. That's why I didn't know about it.

And I will say Neve Campbell still looks surprisingly good. Courtney Cox needs to put a bag over her plastic surgery head, though. She looks weird. I noticed it on the Friends reunion.

I went and seen Scream 4 way back then, Can't remember much of it now.

I liked the first 3, Wes Craven is a great director, but honestly I found them more like comedies than horror.

I never saw 4. 3 made a big deal about being the final act of the trilogy and it was so much later after all the actors were much older it seemed pointless, I imagine it made jokes about franchises considering all the stupid saw, final destination and American pie shit.

Wasn't that kind of the point? Weren't they supposed to be kind of self-aware and self-referential and meta about the horror/slasher genre?
