Kin, the Irish Peaky Blinders

Typically depressing genre crime tale set in Dublin and like the wire, sopranos, breaking bad etc. it's very enjoyable.

A "must watch"

So was The Office. Until the far superior American iteration came about. 😛

And I know Dublin is in Ireland, that was an honest mistake m the Vs thread. 🤡

A lot of Irish people hate it. I'm not kidding. It's getting absolutely savaged by anyone watching it.

The setting is nice, but it's no Love Hate.

Why do you think so many hate it? I'm quite enjoying it.

From what I've read, I've seen words like pretentious, boring, badly-acted and badly-written thrown around. Like they went for style over substance.

I've not watched a whole lot of it, so I can't really speak on it from my own pov.

Gotta be honest, I love that you called it the Irish Peaky Blinders though.

it is a half decent ent premise, some acting is very good. Some bad the premise is a cliche, the gang war, the family hard man out of prison dragged into a squabble not his making. It's a trope, but a good one.
