So reading the entire story (From CNN no less), it seems Project Veritas was approached by the allegef thieved and turned them down.
yet in the message u posted from their founder, he says that they were approached by the "tipsters", negotiated with their attorneys and were then in possession of the diary afterwards.

"Late last year, we were approached by tipsters claiming they had a copy of Ashley Biden’s diary. We had never met or heard of the tipsters. The tipsters indicated that the diary had been abandoned in a room in which Ms. Biden stayed at the time, and in which the tipsters stayed in temporarily after Ms. Biden departed the room. The tipsters indicated that the diary included explosive allegations against then-candidate, Joe Biden. The tipsters indicated that they were negotiating with a different media outlet for the payment of monies for the diary. The tipsters were represented by attorneys who handled the negotiations with Project Veritas."

"We investigated the claims provided to us, as journalists do. We took steps to corroborate the authenticity of the diary. At the end of the day, we made the ethical decision that because, in part, we could not determine if the diary was real, if the diary in fact belonged to Ashley Biden, or if the contents of the diary occurred, we could not publish the diary and any part thereof. We attempted to return the diary to an attorney representing Ms. Biden, but that attorney refused to authenticate it. Project Veritas gave the diary to law enforcement to ensure it could be returned to its rightful owner. We never published it."

That was based on other sources. They conveniently did not mention how PJ tried to return the diary to a lawyer, and finally to authorities.

Dunno, was from random browsing.

Looks like they added in the part about the lawyer now:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/ncna1283365

Either way, if true they're taking everything and anything from reporters, then this is an overreach.

And the feds are known to keep things they take. Gun owners who have firearms confiscated as part of an unrelated search must jump through many hoops to get them back, and some are lost forever. The feds have no real accountability.

im not sure what the possibility of feds keeping what they take has to do with the discussion at hand, but anyway.

To sum up.

As it stands Project veritas likely bought, possibly stole, at the very least obtained and possessed stolen property and is now justifiably being investigated for this and any possible connection to the original theft and any subsequent crimes connected.

Did i miss anything?

The fact there is zero proof of any of this, or the fact the feds are ransacking a conservative whistleblower organization over a diary?

A lost diary is hardly fbi material.

A judge found sufficient evidence to sign a warrant. Cry more.

So you low standard ends at authority approval.

Guess you had no problem when a duly authorized police officer killed George Floyd then.

u mean except the proof u yourself posted, where the founder of PV admits to obtaining and possessing the stolen property?

So someone that reports a crime becomes a suspect?

Because that is all they did. Report being approached, and refusing to publish the information (Which they would have had every right to do as journalists)

CNN and others get stolen information all the time, and actually publish.

by that silly logic any one who had no problem with the officer forcing George into submission and murdering him should have no problem with a duly authorized government forcing vaccines on people.

And funnily enough the left don't mind the forcing of vaccines either.

Thank you for proving my point.

They didnt just report a crime.

They reported they obtained and possessed the actual stolen property.

Remember? U posted the proof. I reminded u a cpl posts ago.

But they want to be all like yeah we obtained the stolen property and are in possession of the stolen property but we didnt steal it. Trust us 😉

but people on the right do.

Disproving ur point and making your logic look silly, thus proving my point of ur logic being silly.

Course they don't because they're the true fascists. 😉

So Ashley Biden was molested by her Father and had inappropriate showers with him.

And the Left thinks Biden is a not a pervert.
