The right verdict imo.

He'll still have to live with the fact he took two lives. I expect he'll need a lot of therapy.

No real heroes here, just a tragic and avoidable outcome.

Condolences to the families of Joseph Rosembaum and Anthony Huber.

Nah, Kyle is a hero. He risked his life to help people in that community. You don't get much more heroic than that. 😉

I'd say the jurors are heroes too. They did the right thing in face of backlash from violent leftists and their riots.

Carrying a machine gun to a riot in a threatening way and later using it = not violent
Trying to conceal the weapon out of fear = violent. Thanks meth for clearing that up.

So lets go with this logic. Kyle went where he didn't belong, carried a gun into a riot, and provoked a confrontation.

Does that make the three much older men victims?

Why can't we condemn them for being provoked? Or for joining in the riots in the first place?

Why are they unable to not make bad mistakes that end with them being shot to death, yet Kyle Rittenhouse the 17 year old deserves the full consequences of his poor decisions.

Because he shot someone. Did his shooting someone happen in a vacuum?

Rightwingers on social media and Rightwing media are spinning versions of "Rittenhouse now has to live with the remorse over having to defend himself, he's the victim"

He's a psychopath, he has zero remorse. He'll be in the bars tonight or soon enough partying over his kills like he has done before.

Okay, you do understand the definitions of "provoke" and "death" right?

Based on what I saw, it definitely seems like the right call.

Yes I do.

I also understand here in America a sherrif shot a man to death, and a judge ruled it was not a murder due to him being provoked with "fighting words".

Kyle shot two men who were chasing him and attacking him. And you think it murder?

I guess Ritterhouse was found not-guilty afterall.

Figured the judge would throw something in due to the whole illegal firearm possession in a concealed carry State but I suppose that fell through.

It was due to a super specific wording that only outlawed short barrel guns.

I've heard of similar laws before, the intent is to attack common use weapons in street gangs like sawed off shotguns, while protecting guns used in hunting.

I don't think Rittenhouse was provoked. I think he was thinking "just give me an excuse and I'll use this weapon"

Like I said, he should be monitored.

What, because of one case?

I'm sure the racist hicks who gunned down a jogger won't get off.

If you mean riots, I was half expecting that to happen immediately following the results.

So far so good. It could happen later, but that remains to be seen.

Nobody wants to be Kyle Rittenhouse.

His name is now mud to over half of America. It will be near impossible living a normal life now.

This definitely sent another message to the gun Rightist that murdering is okay as long as you can spin "but it was self defense!". Then again, this isn't anything really new in the US.

But I'd not be surprised if we have a surge of these "incidents", with younger shooters.

Don't attack people with guns!

Wait, YouTube video I guess you can!

Why do you even engage with his weak ass trolling? It's no surprise that he is butthurt over this rightful verdict. He wanted the innocent white boy to grow old in prison just for the sin of being white and carrying a gun.
