He was a Rightist icon years ago, was one of the kids on that '19 Kids and Counting' show, the little darling of the family. Family who kept having kids cos something, something Jesus. It pushed a heavy Christian and Conservatives values theme.

The whole story is really f**ked up, as a child Josh had been sexually molesting several of his younger sisters and their friends. The parents tried repeatedly to cover it up instead of reporting it to the police, this went on for years and years.

At one point they had a state trooper friend of theirs give Josh a 'stern lecture on being a good man and Christian' to set him straight, a few years later that same state trooper was arrested for possessing child pornography himself. Can't make this shit up.

The family are avid Trump supporters too. Shocker.

edit: Honestly, they should go after the parents too for being enablers.

Dark Thor, are you seeing this?

While Rob is rightly condemning this piece of human filth, he takes a dig at Christians and Roman Catholics as a whole.

And the left in the US really believe all Christians are equivilent to the worst of us. This would be naked Islamaphobia if they applied this same standard.

And I apologize for having done that to Islam, it's not right to condemn an entire group by association.

^This is another spin and smear on what I said, I am not "condemning Christians and Roman Catholics as a whole", I am condemning Josh Duggar and his shitty parents who should have put a stop to this back when Josh was still a kid. Christianity in of itself has nothing to do with this.

cdtm is playing his usual shit-troll tactics for attention.

That family had always creeped me out.

Nice, hope he rots in prison.

One of the videos recovered from his computer was a 14-15 month baby being raped and tortured. WTF.

Those are some gruesome details, credible source?

I have wikipedia'd that Duggar guy - so he was basically a minor reality tv celeb... even though the first charges date back to 2006?

Am I getting this right?

Actually, turns out the baby was 3months old. But it's a NYPost article and they're not very reliable. They do source the name of the expert witness though:

"James Fottrell, a top forensics investigator at the Department of Justice, testified that his team had reportedly uncovered the shocking video of a 3-month-old girl." -snip

Hate to have that guy's job. You can't unsee that shit.

Josh Duggar has been charged with receiving and possessing child pornography following his arrest on Thursday, April 29th.

"According to court documents, Joshua James Duggar, 33, allegedly used the internet to download child sexual abuse material," the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Western District of Arkansas said in a press release on Friday, April 30th. "Duggar allegedly possessed this material, some of which depicts the sexual abuse of children under the age of 12, in May 2019."

Duggar pleaded not guilty to the charges during his arraignment on Friday. He is still being held without bond but can request to be released during a hearing set for May 5th. His trial is scheduled to begin July 6th, with pretrial proceedings beginning five days earlier. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison and $250,000 in fines for each count.

The news broke just days after his wife, Anna Duggar, announced that the couple are expecting their seventh child, a girl. They share six children together, including three daughters under the age of 11.

In May 2015, InTouch Weekly acquired a police report that Josh had molested five underage girls—one as young as 5—between 2002 and 2003, when he was 14 and 15 years old.

He apologized in a post on his family's Facebook page, confirming that the victims were four of his younger sisters, and a cousin.

Three months later, Josh confessed to cheating on his wife after his name appeared in a data breach for the dating website Ashley Madison, which caters to people in relationships seeking to have affairs.

He then entered a six-month rehab program at a faith-based treatment facility, followed by Christian marriage counseling.

Ronnie Floyd, the highest-ranking official of the Southern Baptist Convention executive committee announced his resignation Thursday evening, following weeks of contentious committee meetings about a sexual abuse inquiry.

"Due to my personal integrity and the leadership responsibility entrusted to me, I will not and cannot any longer fulfill the duties placed upon me as the leader of the executive, fiscal, and fiduciary entity of the SBC," Floyd wrote in a letter sent to the executive committee members Thursday night.

The executive committee, which handles convention business when the full SBC is not in session during its two-day annual meeting, met in recent weeks to vote on waiving attorney-client privilege for an investigation into the committee's handling of sexual abuse claims.

In 2015, Floyd called for civil disobedience against the Supreme Court's ruling on same-sex marriage, declaring that God will punish Christians who accept the decision. Later that year, he suggested that Josh Duggar cheated on his wife because she did not put out often enough.

The Southern Baptist Executive Committee has now lost ten members, its legal counsel, and its president over the investigation into hundreds of cases of sexual abuse in Southern Baptist churches, including several in which perpetrators were allowed to remain in ministry.

Mike Stone, a leader of the group trying to pull the Southern Baptist Convention further to the right, has sued Russell Moore, the former president of the denomination's Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, for "claims of defamation, false light invasion of privacy, and emotional distress."

The lawsuit, filed Monday in U.S. District Court for Middle Tennessee, follows recent attacks against Moore from the ultra-conservative Southern Baptist wing for, they believe, deliberately leaking letters that criticized Southern Baptist leaders for mishandling sexual abuse claims in the Nashville-based denomination.

Stone, a pastor from Georgia, makes the same allegation against Moore in the lawsuit. Moore's letters also harmed Stone's overall reputation and "diminished his future earning capacity," Stone's complaint contends. Stone, who is represented by the Brentwood-based Cole Law Group, is seeking $750,000 in damages.

The illicit history of Josh Duggar first burst into public view in 2015 when a 2006 police report was published about an investigation into allegations he had molested five underage girls, including a few of his sisters.

Josh acknowledged in a statement at the time that "as a young teenager, I acted inexcusably for which I am extremely sorry and deeply regret. I hurt others, including my family and close friends. I would do anything to go back to those teen years and take different actions. I sought forgiveness from those I had wronged and asked Christ to forgive me and come into my life."

In emotional testimony at a hearing ahead of Josh's trial on federal charges for receiving and possessing child pornography two years ago, it was revealed he had fondled four additional underage girls, starting when he was 12.

His defense insists none of that should be relevant to his child pornography charges. Justin Gelfand urged the judge, "Let's have a trial about what actually happened in May of 2019."

The defense also argued that Josh's confessions to child molestation were made in the context of "spiritual counseling," and so should be shielded by the religious privilege between clergy and parishioners.

The matter remains pending before Judge Timothy L. Brooks, who questioned Gelfand about where such a privilege would begin and end, including in the context of mandatory reporting laws about child abuse.

What a gubberslaushxhin

To be fair to Stilt, he's so guilt ridden by allegations in all the mainstream porn watches that he reflexively questions allegations even when inappropriate to do so.

Don't worry Stilt, Gonzo viewing doesn't make you a bad person. This guy is guilty beyond question.

Gerald Faulkner, a special agent for Homeland Security Investigations, stated the files on the computer were "in the top five of the worst of the worst that I've ever had to examine".[96][97] One of the videos allegedly in Duggar's possession, created by Peter Scully, depicts the rape and torture of an 18-month-old toddler.[98][99]

That's one big family, by the way. Makes you wonder about the rest of them.

And wait, this reality shit has had over 200 episodes? Plus like a hundred from its spin-off?

Who watches such shows, anyway? Cdtm?
