Saw it last week, enjoyed it 7/10

Going to see if I can catch it this week.

Enjoyed the 1st, that church scene was an unexpected blast, you don't think of Colin Firth and extreme action/violence. 8/10

Second film was okay. 6/10

I've heard this prequel is different to the previous movies, It's not so much a spy film.

So this was OK but not as funny or bonkers as the 1st 2. It did have some stand out scenes like the time-lapse of the trenches expanding and the land being wrecked by the war. The Rasputin fight was also excellent and the twist was pretty jarring.

Still feel like some truly awesome actors were wasted in their roles like Charles Dance and Daniel Brühl.

Overall a reasonable watch though.

Excellent: we find the quality and originality of the first opus, the second having been a big disappointment.
