Daredevil vs. Pyro

😮‍💨 Is Daredevil able to dictate the footsteps into an approach that can beat anyone?

They've fought before, and DD beat him iirc.

How I hate street level plot armor. Pyro should slaughter him 10/10.

Yeah, but DD had him pretty much beat in the rematch, incapacitating his arms.

In the forum scenario, that quickdraw result shouldn't matter though, as Pyro's flames - controlled by his mutant power - should have the range advantage over Matt's billy clubs.

Should. Unless Matt goes into Bullseye mode and defies physics and common sense again...

When DD took down Namor with pressure points, that was plot armor.

Pyro ain't Namor.

DD has bested Spidey several times, Wolverine a few, Iron Fist twice that I recall, BP twice. All because of the combination of skill and sensory advantage, and not plot armor. I dont see Pyro taking a majority vs any of these guys what so ever.

Unless Pyro goes AOA with his flames and pretty much scorched earth (which I'm not even sure he's capable of) I can see Matt taking a slight majority

DD got a nerve strike that disabled Pyro’s arm, but Pyro still knocked him out with one blast. He should run a train that lineup with ease but he is an idiot so… your writer may vary.

What was hilarious was that Pyro's smoke was dense enough to stop a Billy club and throw it back at DD.

DD didn't connect even once in their first fight (like DS says, smoke-shield prevented it from happening and bounced the club right back at Matt), but he did incapacitate both of Pyro's arms in the rematch in the same issue. As he was faster on the quickdraw.

Their third fight happened almost 100 issues later, with Pyro dying (and being amped at the same time) because of the Legacy Virus, but it was full of CIS - Pyro looking for a way to go out in style and DD taking pity on him.

Namor is Marvel's pet character, who not only is crazy powerful, but very competent, too.

Pyro is a loser, who has a great chance here (potential shitstomp in his favour, actually), but only because of the starting distance and lack of any environmental advantage for Matt.

It’s standard forum conditions. If you want to argue that DD billy clubs Pyro before Pyro overwhelms him, go for it.

Remember Contest of Champions where Daredevil couldn’t be seen in plain sight. If you extrapolate that to harm he could stay safe from damage at levels of the hunt.

lol yeah, agreed. DD isn’t Batman or Cap (who just shrugged off Gambit charging and exploding his armor). It’s impressive he didn’t just fry… although I think Pyro says his shot missed because he was drunk, lol.
