Literally went and looked up the request. This image is conveniently missing the last major part of the reply
"The Trust would also like to add, patients have been tested for Covid but the majority are being treated for other conditions, covid is a finding from testing, not that they are necessarily symptomatic."
As in most of those patients are in for non-covid related hospitalizations. So if someone was in a car accident tested positive for Covid, which everyone seems to be getting tested at the hospital, then they showed up in the FOI request.

I believe we see that in Ontario. I remember seeing ICU patients with COVID, not because of the disease but other non-related reasons.
My least favourite thing in the world right now is the idea that the vaccines don't do shit when they actually do. If you are using the idea that its suppose to stop infection....yeah, even triple vax'd people are getting it....but that's not what is important. It's ICU visists, hospitals visits. That's the shit that is important and I do think the data suggests full vax'd people suffer signficantly less symptoms that non-vax people.

We don't have another covid thread, so posting it in here. The Irish government today said that from 6am tomorrow, almost all covid restrictions are being lifted. Hotels, cinemas, pubs and restaurants are all free to open as normal, sports event and home visit capacity limits are pretty much gone, and for now, the only thing that's still required is for you to wear a mask on public transport and in shops etc.Two years and poof, 90% of the restrictions are just gone. Just goes to show what vaccine uptake can do for a country.
