Great Evil Beast Vs Mister Mxyzptlk

Yeah, could just be referring to the current DC Multiverse, which has been labeled an “Omniverse” after being recreated by The Hands to contain “an infinite web of multiverses”.

what does beyond omniverse even mean? by definition omniverse is all there is of existence

Yeah, WHO is going to travel beyond the Omniverse? Wonder what or who lies beyond the Omniverse?

There really shouldn't be where or who beyond the omniverse, that defies the definition of what an omniverse is

Maybe some but not all of them. Some are new villains.

DC as of its most recent arc has defined the “Omniverse” as the infinity of Multiverses that exist across the Overvoid, along with the Overvoid itself. While I agree there shouldn”t be anything beyond this, it”s not defined as “literally everything/all there is of existence”. Hell, the GEB exists in its own “dimension” entirely separate from the mainstream Omniverse.

and that doesn't make sense, it's paradoxical

Just wanted to mention this here, but I really do not enjoy the retcons that occurred in the latest issue of Justice Incarnate. Manhattan was retconned to have been influenced by the GEB to do what he did. There”s a bunch of other shitty retcons too.

I don’t recall that Dr Manhattan was influenced by GEB
Where was that mentioned. I thought it was only Darkest Night

Wow
Totally missed that

Geezzzz

Was Myx mentioned in JLI? I enjoyed all the gotcha moments and continuity porn from the book so far. Especially Swamp Thing

Nah, Mxy is not mentioned. The Monitors, Mandrakk, Empty Hand, Manhattan, Barbatos, DK are all mentioned though.

Pretty much every major crisis has been retconned to being a direct influence of GEB. AM, Mandrakk, Barbatos, DK, etc were all “cursed”/manipulated by the Great Darkness against their knowledge to weaken “the Light”.

So where does Lucifer stand here

This feels a lot like Supernatural

lucifer was referred as GEB in lucifer v3 but I doubt that has anything to do with main dc continuity

That’s accidentally

Is implied power greater than actual feats?

in this case yes, even if we count wf as canon, what said about geb in the new issue trumps any feat from anyone in comic book history, that was some azathoth level shit

I'm still not convinced. If comics has taught me anything... statements should be taken casually
