It really was.
I was wondering if Bridges was going to do a Rooster Cogburn follow up like Wayne did.

Might've been some talk about, Not sure tho.

He already did. It was called "R.I.P.D" 😛

Boyz in the hood and Big Mommas House are classics that shouldn't be remade.

Big Momma’s House should never have been made in the first place.

The Crow
Highlander
Iron Giant
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
Silence of the Lambs
The 9th Gate

If they remade silence of the lambs I could tell you right now they would try and implement a Jodie Foster cameo, but she didn't even want anything to do with Hannibal so maybe that's why they're not remaking it: no one wants to BE in it

Menace 2 Society,Juice and none of Spike Lees classic films

The Silence of the Lambs, if ever remade, would trigger snowflakes because of “transphobia” and “gender issues” shit.

^^^Yeah, I’m amazed at how many times you need to explain to some ppl what acting/storytelling is.

The entire point of acting is becoming something you aren’t.
The whole “Only a _______ can play a _______ “ argument is ignorant.
The person who best embodies what the ppl making the movie want is the person who should play the part.
Not to mention the hypocrisy of the ppl saying they don’t want to be denied any opportunities due to their sexuality/how they define themselves advocating doing just that to others.

As far as storytelling, well, even in today’s “enlightened” society w. a TON of resources available there are ppl who struggle and can’t wrap their heads around who and what they are, much less in 1990 when SoTL is set, or in 1975, when Jame Gumb first meets Hannibal.

Gumb’s story is meant to be ****ed up and sad, both for him and all the ppl that end up dead because he can’t get the help he needs when he needs it.

A modern audience complaining about, like you said, the “transphobia” & “gender issues” shit are imo, proving they’re too stupid to watch movies, and way too eager to jump on a bandwagon. 😛

I guarantee Blazing Saddles will never be remade...lol

Car wash...Friday...So I married an ax-murderer...Memento...Barbarella -lol

I would have added "West side story" but too late and they FVKED IT UP

Any film from the 90s would trigger snowflakes.

****, anything before 2014 would trigger snowflakes.

Disney movies.
