Longshot vs. Quicksilver

馃拑 Can Longshot make the shot?

Longshot with ease. QS trips at mach 40 and splats into an incoming 18 wheeler

Longshot's power is not infallible.

Against speedsters and their extremely poor luck in comics, though, it may indeed be the perfect weapon.

What are the limits to Longshot's power?

Literally whatever writers want them to be at the time 馃槀

Didn't he summon a cosmic being once?

You're referring to Longshot Saves the Marvel Universe mini or ... ?

I always hated longshore, majority, spiral and all that shit. Claremont decline imho.

It was a warning. Now America has become a real-life Mojoworld.

His limits are that he cannot use his power for selfish purposes. If he does then, instead of being lucky, he gets lucky.

馃槀

He's basically a younger version of Whirly.

He can't use them for personal gain. As well as for every boit of good luck that is twisting astronomical odds (trying to make something this is a 1 in 10000 chance a 1 in 1) someone else gets bad luck.

When he tried to use his luck to get a free meal the food truck he was trying to get it from exploded.

When he worked as a stuntman and he used his luck to survive the something he shouldn't have been able to, a close friend of his lost her life.

Because of the bad luck backward kick he no longer tries to make a specific thing happen. Instead he let's his luck decide how it will work it out.

Usually it's by doing small things. Like make Magneto sneeze so his control of his powers is thrown off at a crucial moment.

Stuff like making a helicarrier stop falling out of the sky before it hits him, that is going to give someone else a REALLY F#ING BAD DAY.

Making stuff just miss him, or people slip, trip- not so much. Virtually no kickback
