JSA 36. But she didn't beat Superman, he was under mind control and under the shock of the mind control broken.
Didn't see it her fight SM in issue 35. She did beat blue moon in 33. Blue moon said she was more powerful than superman when the moon is full. How accurate is that?
I honestly don't recall what's happening in the arc and why they're fighting, but on this forum at least we tend to look at it as being not admissible if a character is compromised.
It would be like me getting in the ring with Mike Tyson... but he has a blindfold on, one hand tied behind his back, and a nasty bout of food poisoning. Sure, I might technically beat him, but it's not like he was at his best either.

Thanks. So the context seems to suggest she didn't really beat superman? She is not his equal then or i am missing something?
Superman and all the characters in grey colour were under control by Ultra-Humanite when he took the power of the Thunderbolt. He used the Thunderbolt to insert brain implants into then and control them via this.
As such they were hardly reacting as a normal Superman would react since Ultra had to choose their moves. Controlling so many would have also made his reactions even slower.
No way in hell is post Crisis PG beating Superman with both going all out. For the first decade or so post crisis she was even more nerfed than bronze age. During this period (bronze age) she was basically action comics 38 Superman level. It wasn't till the latter part of the All Star comics revival (approaching modern age) when she could actually fly etc. Inf Inc (the scans shown by Leo) of her loosing to a stream of ruthlessness affected earth 2 Superman was when she was finally a fully powered earth 2 Kryptonian. Post crisis when she was retconned to be the grand daughter of Arion genetically altered by his magic her invulnerability didn't even protect her from Superman's heat vision. He was literally able to cut her with it to perform surgery.
Since Digi hasn't been on KMC for a while pretty sure I'm the only resident JSA fanboy so you can't assume I have a modicum of knowledge on the subject

I see. Thanks for the info. I really didn't remember anything by PG to put her on par with post crisis SM. But since somebody mentioned that she beat a superman. I had to try to find the issue and context. Now i see that context of that fight does prove she isn't equal to post crisis SM.

Ohh FYI the Blue Moon appearance your referencing was from Justice Society 35, 36 when Jay got the new Dr Fate to help the JSA. It's run started in 2006 or 2007.
The JSA series that Abhi referred to started its run mid 1999.

Would you say is accurate that blue moon was more powerful than SM when PG beat her?
