Quote function not working

Sometimes, using the quote button on a post that I want to reply to doesn't work. It just takes me to a post submission page with nothing quoted. Also, I recently used the quick quote function, and copy pasted a specific part of a post that I wanted to reply to within the brackets, but it quoted the entire post.

Dude, it's been that way since 2015. Server move is to blame.

Special characters typed in some posts (such as the iPhone aspostrophes) are causing this problem. Use the quickquote function, that's the only workaround for it.

It depends on who you quote, Dude.

If they use iOS apostrophes or other special characters, you can't quote their posts properly (unless you use the alternate option - quickquote - as I've mentioned in the earlier post).

In this particular thread, you'll find no such issues atm.
