Well tests done, result: indeterminate, I need more tests. Possible early onset dementia... we will see.
does that mean they found nothing in the images, or did they find something questionable. usually when they find nothing, they start making educated guesses and scare the shit out of you.

Not to to insult Nigerian hospitals, but maybe fly back to the UK for testing and a second opinion?
Tbf, Whirly was very drunk and had a fist fight with the doctors. awesome

I'm still very suspicious of long covid symptoms. I'm sure you did take a lot of hits as you said, but the timing of this is kinda peculiar, isn't it.
*edit
my suspicion is due to articles like these:

Originally posted by Bashar TegI've been noticing this perceived degeneration going on for a bit before COVID, since maybe 2018, maybe as my brother seems to think, it's in my head but not real. I hope I am imagining it, but honestly don't think I am. The possible capillary issue isn't clotting exactly either. My RBC's are also tge upper end of normal size and the upper end of normal level for erythrocytes.

I hope you really have been overthinking it, but also hope that doesn't stop you from trying to get to the bottom of this. I say "trying" because if the leads they're investigating now are dead ends, it will probably remain a mystery, open to multiple educated guesses. at least that's been my experience with neurology and imaging.
*edit* not disrespecting neurology, it's just frustrating how limited the diagnostic and surgical capabilities are compared to other medical sciences. I almost had to have a hole drilled into my skull. I mean ffs the ancient Egyptians did that. meanwhile cardiology has sci-fi tech, robots can fix heart and send you home in a couple of days
Originally posted by Bashar TegI've got some free time coming up next month and we are going to use my bupa International insurance in dubai to check it out. I'm going to then pay to see a doc in the uk. Hopefully between the two renowned medical facility nations I'll get some answers Bash, thanks for being interested btw.
