Masters of the Universe: Revelation is getting a second season. At its Geeked Week event Wednesday, Netflix announced the follow-up installment of the animated series, Masters of the Universe: Revolution from Mattel Television and Powerhouse Animation.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution is described as the next epic chapter in the battle for Eternia. It is a standalone story that takes place after the events in Revelation.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution is an all-new story that brings the focus to He-Man vs. Skeletor "like you’ve never seen them before." It is technology versus magic as He-Man and the heroic warriors face the forces of Skeletor and a deadly threat to the planet.

I am in the minority having enjoyed season 1. I'm looking forward to this.

S1 was fine. Will watch the next season.

It had its moments.

Won't say I didn't enjoy it, I absolutely did the first time through. Not something I'd want to rewatch becsuse of its flaws.

The big battle at the end stands out, because the only battle that really mattered was Lynn vs Teela for the universe.

Yeah, the Masters vs Hoard mattered in the sense characters you cared about could die, but if the Masters won and Lynn won, it's game over for team Good.

Alternate stakes could have helped. Something where even if Teela won, the Masters losing would still result in universal Armageddon.

Liked when Adam became Savage He-Man.

Didnt like he was too much of a wuss to that again.

Imagine giving up eternal paradise only to see Teela save the day. 🙂

He will be fine with. Because he gets to eternally boink Teela now.

I thought Revelation was just overall okay, decent enough at times, but nothing special. I'll give this one a try too.

This one does seem to focus extremely heavy on Adam/He-Man, should make the people that cried over "too many girls!" of Revelation happy.

The writing is not as tight as Revelation, but it is really good.

wayched coi was bored... writing sucke.. the action was okay

I ended up liking this one a bit more. Would give S3 a viewing if they make it.

Story was good, ending was meh.

Would have liked to have seen some new powers from He-Man after all the apparent upgrades he received.

Like what!? Laser eyes and building cracking butt-cheek-claps?

Energy bolts from the Sword would have been nice. Would have liked a shield. MOTU 2003 did some cool things. It's not hard to imagine something extra cool/nice without getting totally ridiculous. I feel his powers are made for potential upgrades.

I see your POV, but I kinda like He-Man being more of a brick character.

I liked Savage He-Man from the previous season.

I am looking forward to him fighting his sister next season.

Oh that's happening?

I was wondering where She-Ra is in all this since it's a sequel to the original series.

Did you not see the stinger at the end of episode five? The woman who removes the Despara helmet is Force Captain Adora.
