I just realized, as far as I know, I don't know anyone who has ever had an abortion.

All of the young people I know of who've had babies at an early age when they shouldn't have, just keeps them and either don't go to college or just drops out for the most part. It's crazy. Some were actually pregnant towards the later part of our Senior Year in Highschool and didn't tell anybody. One would almost come to the conclusion that they planned it.

I don't think you'd know about the ones that had abortions. The hiding the fact they were pregnant kind of goes hand in hand with it. I would agree many young women may plan to become pregnant though.

Most of the time people who have abortions keep it on the down low. No one has to know if you get an abortion except the doctor who performs the removal process on you and yourself.
But on the second part, the same thing happened at my school, two of my friends were freshman and sophomore and they planned a baby. They were both 15 or 16 at the time. I held my tongue because I didn't want to hurt their feelings but that was one of the stupidest things I had ever seen done in my entire life. The mother was still living at home with her Mom and like..4-5 brothers and sisters and they were living on welfare because they didn't have any fricking money. It's bad enough when you have an unplanned pregnancy at that age, but it's 10x worse when it is planned.
