Here in Ohio literally had a 10 year get raped and got pregnant from said rape. The Ohio legislature said the child had to carry the child to term.Thankfully that child was able to go across state lines to get that pregnancy terminated.

So I guess this would be a good a thread as any to ask? But regarding the Roe Vs thing..sorry not well versed on politics or whatever.
Are people upset cause it was a Constitutional thing? This is where I’m confused cause where in the Constitution says that? Doesn’t it say something along the lines of “any other law is supposed to be run by the States” something to the effect?
Or was the Constitution changed at some point to include the Abortion thing? Again not really big on this, so I’m just confused here.
Tbh I thought this was a Federal Law this whole time , not a Constitutional one, hence my confusion.

The court overturned the ruling because they believed abortion to be a state issue and not a federal issue. This means a lot of religious states will likely criminalise abortion in all cases.
This will only damage the health of many US citizens, and probably the economy.

10-year-old rape victim denied abortion in Ohio
A 10-year-old girl was denied an abortion in Ohio after the Supreme Court ruled last week that it was overturning Roe v. Wade, demonstrating the tangible impacts that the high court’s decision is having on patients seeking access to the medical procedure. -snip
Once again showing the anti-choice people do not really give a shit about children.
