Wrestling won't do shit against a guy who wrecked such master martial artist like Wolverine. Mr. X would stab him when Fury would even try to grab him, because with his telepathy allows him to read and predict fighting moves. And agents are fodder for Mr. X, he constantly murders his own sparring partners.

And back to the topic - Mr. X once also wrecked a Headsman, a guy who was an enemy of Spider-Man. By just kicking him and holding his hands behind his back.
Mr. X also has defeated Taskmaster, making him look like a chump even with his badass moves stolen from other characters. Tasky himself can anticipate and predict moves in combat too.
Fury, even if he has prep, hardly would do anything about Mr. X and his combat prowess plus the fact he can easily read Fury's mind and predict his moves.
