What about his durability? The Surfer’s durability is the question being asked. He had his head dented in by Mjolnir and kept on going, slapped into a bulkhead by Galactus and kept on going. I mean yes we have speed, but we also have the power hijack that will happen immediately. Earth knows what a Daxamite is. The Surfer would as well.

Mon-El can be power leeched by the Surfer in the very same way that the Hulk is power drained. The Surfer has been outclassed in the past, but I really can not see Mon-El going at it with Knull for as long as the Surfer did. Thanos would slay Mon-El as well. Speed can take various forms. But the Surfer is anything but slow while in motion. He can and has bent time.

Different forms of attacks must also be considered. I contend as always that the Surfer does not actually have to be within physical contact to lock onto a terrestrial life forms life force due to the power cosmic.

Is this completely going to be ignored? Should it be? Mon-El isn’t going to KO the Surfer without being repelled by AOE exposure. The Surfer blasts a lot and is a mediocre pugilist. This we know.

Anyway Mon-El loses via ensnarement.

Mon-El isn’t Wrath though. Wrath has the ability to resist power jacking. Mon-El does not. Wrath was no joke as we all know as well, and would likely beat Mon-El as easily. Mon-El actually has no natural defense against against the Surfer doing this to him.
