If you chose TP, you would still have 50pt, or 50% more powers to choose from. Vegetation control, and X-ray vision.
See I thought we were talking about Sort of instantly getting these abilities and powers not growing up with them the way the Xavier also brainwave Snr did. because they grew up with them they learnt to control them as they grew. When you look at characters that instantly got them or instantly got a massive kick in powers you look at someone like Brainwave Jr's. When Snr passed his power level onto his son he became too powerful and coulnt keep out the thoughts of the masses. He heard the thoughts of multitudes and it drove him mad.
I see the same problem with super strength how do you know not to pull someone's arm out of the socket when you get a shake their hand or just crush everything Ah la citizen steel. In his case he couldn't feel so had to be restrained but how do you adapt to such an instant jump in strength without being a danger to those you love? Added to which isolation to protect others makes for a pretty sad lonely life.
Strength isn't something I'd find very useful. It's also very hard to hide if your actually going to benefit from it.
Invulnerability is only useful if you plan to get into dangerous situations often. Same with shields of Sue.
Heat visions all well n good but only really useful if you plan to be a combatant.
I dont see how gravity control gets you much except for again confrontational.
Magnetism you could use your powers and a lot of copper coils to create and.sell electricity but you want to relax sometime and most people want power 24/7
Vegetation control could make you a VERY good amd profitable farmer. Your crops could produce more than anyone else's.
Speed, TP and vegetation control are thenonly decent options for someone not wanting to get into the hero or villain business and just mind their own and O just see TP with too bog a downside.
