Yeah...after all the shit sequel's this movie franchise has had. it was time for a reboot.

As bad as the sequels were we still got one of the best pinhead lines in Bloodline.

Yes and no. Hellraiser: Judgement there is an angel character, God is mentioned and punishes pinhead when he kills an angel.

Anyway, STUPID hyped for this. Hellraiser has been my favorite horror movie franchise for most of my life. I hope they pull this off.

I don’t mind a woman playing PH or that she’s trans but was hoping we’d see Doug Bradley return to the role. However it’s a reboot so I get it.

Inferno to deader were all movies that were originally something else and then they decided to make them hellraiser movies. The one saving grace is that they at least had Doug Bradley. Then they made revelations, it’s like an Asylum movie. It’s not just the worst HR movie but one of the worst movies in general. HR Judgement wasn’t great either but still better than revelations.

That’s because they’re bad films. Seriously watch revelations if you wanna see one of the worst films ever made.

Yes I did. Lance Henriksen is decent in it, has a 22 year old Henry Cavill in it. And Doug Bradley is always good as pinhead. Other than that…not much good to say on it.

I’ve watched every single hellraiser film. 1 is the best and I won’t lie but 2-4 are guilty pleasures.

Oh yeah Revelations is bad enough for a bad movie night. The movie was only made so that dimension films could keep the movie rights to hellraiser. Even Clive Barker wants nothing to do with it. And yes it’s the one with the pinhead Ridley_prime posted.

Yeah, 1 is great. It holds up surprisingly well. I also like 2. After that it's pretty much all a blur of mediocre to crap.. heh. I quit after 6. But yeah, I can see how the first few are guilty pleasures.

Let's hope this new one is a proper horror fantasy.
