The first ep. was solid.

Jensen Ackles’ narration/cameo was boss.
We were introduced to the main and supporting characters (who together gave me a real Mystery Inc. vibe), the big bad for the season and the lore was laid out.

The lore in particular was handled really well.
Whoever wrote the ep. seems to have realized 99% of the ppl watching will have watched the OG show and the rest of the audience can catch up.

The 70s era music/clothes/conversation came off nice.

The John actor is fine. He’s not trying to do a Jeffrey Dean Morgan impression or anything which I appreciated.

The Mary actress Meg Donnelly (from American Housewife) is cute af and plays the hardass to John’s newbie in a fun way.

The way her big fight scene was cut though, it’s pretty obvious she needs some h2h training. 😆

Going w. a thumbs up and will watch.

watched 1st eppy, surprisingly good

episode 2 was all right, coulda been better...

Yeah I watched the third ep. last night.
Lots of fun stuff in there. The bonsai tree was ****ing great!

That Latika chick is really doing it for me. Very hot.

It’s funny how John and Mary basically have Sam and Dean’s outlooks at this point considering how John ends up favoring Dean over Sam.
