Simon has admitted that he is a step behind Thor in strength but he still often gives the T-God a very tough fight, but Mjolnir gives Thor the edge here.

Then why haven't Simon done so before In their fights? if anything with Simon being more of an energy being than before I can see Thor using Mjolnir to absorb him like Rogue once did.
