Greatest 10 Westerns Ever for you.

My Ten

Tombstone
Revenant
The original Magnificent seven
Unforgiven
The Searchers
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Django Unchained
High Noon
True Grit
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

Thoughts?

The one when John Wayne chucks the kid in the river

.

.

.

.

Everything else

I'd have a few of yours but I'd also have High Plains Drifter, The Quick and the Dead

And all 3 of Taylor Sheridan's modern Western trilogy (Sicario, Hell or Highwater and Wind River

I haven't seen that many Westerns.

Probably just the ones I've seen. If Hell Or Highwater, Django, and Sicario count those were really good.

I remember liking The Quick and the Dead pretty well.

Saw Silverado years and years ago, and remember liking it.

What was the Mel Gibson one... Maverick? Does that count?

Unforgiven
High Plains Drifter
Shane
Jeremiah Johnson
Tombstone
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Once Upon a Time in the West
Hang ‘Em High

Unforgiven and the good, the bad and the ugly are personal faves

Shane, what a film.

I'd chuck 2 of the contemporary best. No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood

Some great lines in quite a few of those, two stand out from big Jake

" so help me the next man who says he thought I was dead I'm gonna shoot"

From unforgiven
" a man's gonna decorate his place with my friend should carry a gun"
" better not cut up or otherwise harm no hores, or I'll come back and kill every one of you son b#÷×"

😂 Naah!

Johnny Yuma
The Professionals
A Fist Full of Dollars
Valdez is Coming
The Alamo

Back to the future part 3

The Outlaw Josey Wales is my favorite Western of all 10/10, if you disagree, you're probably a communist

Tombstone
A Fistful of Dollars
For a Few Dollars More
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The Revenanat
3:10 To Yuma (2007)
Unforgiven (1992)
Blazing Saddles
No Country for Old Men (if this counts as a Western, which is should)

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1967)
The Treasure of the Sierra Madre (1948)
High Noon (1952)
Stagecoach (1939)
Rio Bravo (1959)
Hell or High Water (2016)
True Grit (2010)
Unforgiven (1992)
My Darling Clementine (1946)
The Searchers (1956)

You know every western mentioned is enjoyable. Western are far better than the MCU, there, I said it!

Introduce Rawhide Kid, Matthew Hawk, Red Wolf, Two Gun Kid and Kid Colt in the MCU and use the Time Stone to reset the timeline to 1880, problem solved.

The Good The Bad And The Ugly
High Noon
Unforgiven
The Hateful Eight
3:10 To Yuma (the remake)
True Grit (the remake)
The Magnificent Seven (both the Yul Brenner original and the Fuqua-Washington remake)
Once Upon A Time In The West
The Wild Bunch
The Proposition
