Bit of an outdated set of metrics for innovation though.

Individual technologies and patents are well and good, but climate crises and poverty require systemic, cross-sector reorgs and policy innovation

Wouldn't have thought about it like that..

Isn't innovation generally disruptive of business and commerce issues? Maybe health care? Social issues are usually their own thing, with institutions dedicated to combating them, 500 fortune companies usually only care about that stuff for tax write offs or PR..
