More precisely, Sen. Obama said, “I believe marriage is between a man and a woman,” shortly after being asked if he opposed same-sex marriage, to which he responded, “Yes.”

This is the EXACT same line of reasoning leftists use to demonize the TURFS, including Bette Midler and J.K. Rowling, and of course to demonize the Right in general.

Had I myself said these exact same words, I would doubtless be issued a ban for it.

The Left are hypocrites with short memories, or intentionally deceptive. I have zero respect for them.

Obama later changed his opinion on that though, as did most of the Democrats.

Growth should be celebrated, and I commend him for evolving beyond his past regressive views. I hope conservatives can learn to grow as well.

Spoiler alert, he probably was lying so he could get the job of continuing Bush's policies.

He changed his stance to adapt to public opinion. Remember when Biden was running against Trump and he told that story about being a young boy in the city with his dad and seeing two men in business suits kiss and then walk into different office buildings? Then he asked his dad what that was about and his dad said 'Well Joey... they're in love.' And ever since then "he never had any problem with it" but then went on to oppose gay marriage for decades as a politician? These people are all spineless snakes that say or do anything to be put in positions of power. Never trust a politician, no matter what side you're on.
