Can you make an Avengers team using only Marvel heros that would be on par with the Justice League ??
A team that could stand its ground 2 the league not one that gets crushed or that they themselves annihilate the laegue, but nose 2 nose with them?

In short, I tried to match people who would stalemate the League but at the same time, could be beaten/beat them. So Kitty, for example, would be immune to most of Bruce's attacks - but he could take her down (gas) or she could take him down (phasing into him). Groot can create 'tech' from his body, but it would all be organic so Cyborg can't hack it etc.

This is very intresting.. Ur plan i like it.
I tried to sidestep the whole issue of analogues/counterparts and whether they're equal in power - is Spectrum as fast as Flash? Is Flash faster? All ignored by me using a character who controls the flow of time. Who is stronger, Sentry or Superman? I'll just use a character who doesn't use strength, but is an energy being (so physical attacks largely won't work on her).
Sure, Superman could do something funky to win, but then, so could Spectrum. So that should make it a nice even matchup.
