also, spot on!

It really doesn't work like that. Nations can spend literally as much money as they want. Unlimited funds. The money is an illusion: they are really just taking services from their citizens. People complaining about spending don't get it. What's the worst that could happen? Debt that absolutely no one has a chance of collecting, so even the debt isn't real. The debt is to the people, the interest paid in bonds that create our retirement. We all but into this illusion that the government is a parent with a budget they have to follow, and limits on what they can do for financial reasons, and then when the people stand up and say, I will be treated better, they are accused of destroying this made up "economy" when the truth is, the economy only exists because everyone believes in it.

Go back to the first civilization, when it was just one guy saying "come live near us, and then when you pick berries, you give me some, and when i kill a deer, you'll get some, and we will protect each other." Somewhere along the way we approved a third guy who said "how about you being me all the berries and deer, and I'll give you back as much as I can after I've had enough. I can't let you eat all the berries and eat all the deer, or we won't have an economy, and somehow we all freaking went along with it. /Rant

well the first society you described is Marxist Communalism. The third parry initially provided protection laws and I frastructure and still does. But yes to a point it is an illusion.

Not while this government's in power. And they're just hoping inflation comes down to the point where people will just give up.

But house prices have fallen 4 months in a row. The middle income folks who are mortgaged past their eyeballs with savage increases in their payments while the value of their property drops won't be happy and they're your typical Tory voter. The "I'm alright Jack" group aren't alright anymore. The only chance of action being taken on that front is because so many Tory MPs and Lords also happen to be Landlords with multiple rental properties they may end up losing money on.

Will probably work then, which is shit, people get used to the new-new and quickly forget the people who screwed the mover, even when they voted them in.

an accelerated fall of the Tories. Who are trying to pull a con with the bank of englands help that the fact we are in recession earlier than expected will not mean it will be longer and deeper but shallower and shorter. Insane!

I hope so, they're long overdue for a kicking to the curb. I have zero faith though.

Kier as PM? Is it because of his brilliance? Or is it because od Tory mismanagement?
