Just got back from Superman.Weakest parts are Gunn's script and some weird choices re: Superman's characterisation.
Otherwise, movie is solid, and is a good start for the new universe imo. Lots of good coming out of it, so reason to be optimistic imo.

I think the big thing about this movie is going to be that it garners some good will from essentially having wrecked people's views of the DC as a movie medium. I'm curious as to what characterizations frustrated you, PR. I thought Superman himself was one of the better parts of the movie in general.

Does anyone else blame Ripley for everything that happened after Aliens? If she had taken the Queen Aliens offer of a child hostage exchange, the Queen wouldn't have raged out and tore Bishop in half.
