Subscribing to posts

Raz, it appears that just by posting in a new thread I am automatically subscribed to this, is this a new feature or a bug?

yeah ive noticed that too actually-sometimes i am randomly subscribed.

Rather annoying cos I keep getting Emails and I think I am popular until I see what they are.

same. it fills up my inbox.

same problem, though ONE thing ...

check your options, 'cause my subscribe to thread was switched on at first
but switching it off doesn't help 🙁

And make sure that "Use 'Email Notification' by default?" is set to no.

I did all those things and still get them 🙁

Did you click on the last thread?

Once you have told it not to auto subscribe you, you still may have threads you were subscribed to previously. Clicking on the last link will make sure you are not subscribed to *anything*.

If it still doesn't work, then do you get replies for creating new threads or also replies?

i have these as well...i did unsubscribe to them...though i had my email notiffication offline

hmm, judging by how it's going now, switching it back on, submitting that and then switching it off again with of course submitting works fine ...

in other words: my problems about that subscribing are finished, just by accepting the subscibing and then setting it back on "no"

not since my last post here, but I got 3 since I last subscribed before beer-time.

There is a 10 mintue queue, so some mail might have been there.
