The Flood (2023)

Oh hells yeah...

Gators in a prison...

That might be even worse than the usual prison butt sex... 😕

YouTube video

^Acting like he's not into prison buttsex. SMH

I'm loud and proud, shooga... **snaps finger**

Because "Crawl" was such a bit hit in 2019 😂

^^^I was thinking the same thing! 😆

Eh but still, I’ll end up watching this I’m sure. 😕

I watched Crawl. It was pretty good. 🤷

^^^It wasn’t awful or anything, but I was expecting more carnage.

With an obviously bigger cast this Flood movie looks like it’s going to deliver more murder death kills which is great.

i thought this would be about golden showers lmmfao

Just noticed after watching it "Johnny" Rico (Casper Van Dien) is in this movie.

Yeah, it's probably a bad sign.

Surprised that he didn't get proper movie roles after the first Starship Troopers movie, Got stuck doing straight to dvd movies.

^^^I liked him as Tarzan (at 5’10” the shortest live action version of the Ape Man) in Tarzan And The Lost City.
I remember Jane was that hot chick Bruce Willis nailed in Color of Night.

I didn't know he played Tarzan.

From the limited things I've seen him in I think he just doesn't have much range as an actor.

^^^To his credit, I think he knows that too!

Yeah, I'd probably give him credit for that. Mad Heidi was pretty self aware.

So, it's not a remake of Hard Rain (1998)

Looks like Assault On Precinct 13 meets Snakes On A Plane.

^^^Daaaaamn I remember Hard Rain!

It was enjoyable. It was no Broken Arrow, but def. not awful.

Hard Rain is solid. I rewatched it a few years ago. Some solid old school action fun.

^^^Agreed, and I always like seeing Morgan Freeman as a bad guy. STILL holding out hope for a third chapter in the Bruce/Evan Almighty series where he does double duty as Satan (like George Burns in Oh God You Devil).

On topic, I finally watched The Flood. I liked it. It was a turn your brain off movie which is fine. Some fun kills. They tried to be too dramatic at times but so did Sharknado so you can’t fault them.

I did keep thinking though, the female lead should have been played by Katee Sackhoff.
