Don't know what to make of this.

On the one hand it's directed by the sometimes excellent Neil Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium, Chappie)

And it's got a reasonable cast with David Barbour, Orlando Bloom, Djimon Honsou

On the other hand it's got Geri Haliwell from the Spice Girls and it's fùcking Gran Turismo and the plot seems all sorts of embarrassing awfulness.

Dude.. what planet am I on? Neil Blomkamp is directing a gran turismo movie starring Orlando Bloom and David Horbour??

Its also based on a true story

the actual person (Jann Mardenborough) retired from racing, After his car killed a spectator

go look it up, Not sure if the movie will cover that.

Gotta be honest, I’m gonna watch for David Harbour’s character.

Probably watch it for the cars and racing, but the premise is stupid.

He didn’t retire, he’s still racing.

i'm only going by what i see on Google. I'm not much of a car nut myself.

This was actually pretty decent. Some of the cast weren't exactly great but David Barbour was. Standard fair but decent enough.

Caught this last night, was better than I expected. Was okay.

Yeah it was okay.
