Wrong. A sitting president is not immune to criminal prosecution.

Wrong. Trump will have to be in court for his criminal cases, it's not like his civil case where he could opt to have his lawyer stand in for him.

Actually, they are.

Impeachment exists specifically because you can't prosecute a sitting president. Prosecution comes after being removed from office.

And a person only needs be elected by a majority of electors, we could vote for Trump with him spending every waking moment in a court room or even behind bars, as long as his name is on the ballot and he is eligible to run.

What did you think of all those Jan 6ers found guilty, blaming the reason for their actions being Trump..? CD... Trump is toast, trolling aside mate.

Wrong again. A sitting president cannot be directly sued, there is no law in the Constitution or Federal stature that says a sitting president can't be criminally charged.

eg Ulysses S. Grant 18th POTUS was arrested more than once while president.

You seem to think a president is like a king, at least with Trump. You're wrong as usual.

With all these foot soldiers going to prison for Trump, I wonder if Federal prison might be the safest place for Trump.

Can see a family member of one of theses Proud Boys, Oath Keepers or whatever other unhinged LARPer group arming up and taking a shot at Trump as retribution for abandoning them. Trump has 24hr security, but it only takes one bullet from a lucky shooter.

Well, in all honesty, he riled them up and set them loose. Even Gore surrendered to Bush Jr.

I'm not certain as far as treating all the Jan. 6 people there as terrorists though. If you attacked cops, broke stuff sure, zip tie people especially should be locked up forever.

On the other hand it's only fair to recognize the rules of protest evolve, simply being there or having a MAGA hat on doesn't make you one of them.

But I think they know this, the people locked up so far left digital trails and other clues.

I thought that was Patrick Stewart.

No that was Patrick Seitz.

Enough interpretation I forget what I was saying to Rob.

Oh, that's right. Trump did NOTHING wrong! He simply exercised his freedom of expression.

And if his MAGA crowd took that expression to mean tearing down the White House and kidnapping laminators, hey what you gonna do? Telling an angry mo- crowd to FIGHT can mean anything. Taming them to the Capital while insisting the election was stolen is up for interpretation, for the scholars to decide.

Trumps hands are clean. As clean as his perfectly placed hair.

Offensive language in a position of authority can cause bad people to do bad things.

Idiots always follow other idiots. The only reason it backfired on Trump is because most Americans are proud Americans. Capital Hill is as close to the White House as possible, it's a monument and no one wants to see history being destroyed.

When this black kid was shot by police (I forget his name, a LOT of black kids get shot by police you tend to lose track) and the officer who shot him was found innocent by a court, his father yelled "TEAR IT ALL DOWN!"

No one accused him of inciting a riot, and the rags argued he didn't tell them to riot. If Donald Trump said those exact words, he would totally be accused of inciting a riot, because the words he did say are way less inciteful then "Tear that shit down!"

You're missing the factor "in a position of authority"

He just lost the election, he had no real authority anymore. 😛

Then why are you and others still defending him?

We're against bullying. Stop bullying an elderly man.

And you show contempt against Joe Biden.
