Badenoch is anti-woke and wants restrictions on immigration, so Starmer can't play the "you're racist" card when she's black, nor can he play the "you don't understand British culture" card because then he'd look racist. It's a pretty good poker move.

Harris, on the other hand, was a decent judge on the supreme court who got shoehorned in for being a woman. I think her skin tone had very little to do with it, honestly.

I don't enough about US politics to have an informed opinion, can't be arsed it's too much of a circus. I'd like nothing more than find a small corner of the world that won't be bothered and just wait it out to get better or get over.
