RE: Darth Maul ( see details )

Just generally don’t you think Disney stuffed Maul up? George Lucas was originally going to make 3 movies of him with him as the new Sith Lord and Crime syndicate leader and talon his apprentice whereby he will have to face of Liela and Luke and leila being the main chosen one .. but Disney didn’t pursue it and betrayed George’s plans .. I think it would have been great if Maul would have gotten more screen time ..

Disney seems to have watered him down and made him look much weaker almost like a bit of a push over like they have bastardised him what do you all reckon?

Do you think there’s any chance Disney will bring him back and hence put him on the big screens ?

It’s like I personally think Lucases Maul is better then Disneys Maul.. he was one of the coolest characters he needs more screen time ..

Tbh I didn't like Maul coming back in TCW even before Disney. We had Savage Oppress that was...basically Maul, so I didn't see any real point. Because even if he came back, he can't really do a whole lot and the stuff he builds up, has to come crashing down around him soo....I feel like there wasn't a point to his character.

So what, you introduce this other Zabrak, who uses a double bladed lightsaber and is a Sith Apprentice....only to then just...sideline him for...that same character. You could do anything with this new Zabrak Sith Apprentice character, but you don't...ok.

He was just there, he was in a time that he just didn't belong in, he was just there for fans and yeah he did stuff, he built up a crime syndicate....but then all that fell apart anyway and he got stuck on Malachor.

I vastly prefer his EU incarnation before TCW, where his character stops at the height of his prowess at the end of TPM(because everything points to TPM being the height of his training and abilities with all the backstory to add to that) and fully solidifies Obi-Wan as a full fledged Jedi Knight.

^^ yeah true I guess …but I still think it would have been cool if they bought Ray parks back on the screen .
Like even if Maul came back suppose they want to make him more Uber they can give him night sister magicks plus his sith sorcery force powers etc hence making him more like a legit and original overpowered Sith Lord .. would have been cool ..
