Show me feats of the Vision not withstanding lightning while intangible. He's had plenty of beams and so forth pass through him so why not lightning? Your making stuff up at this point.

He doesn't need the propensity to see them as statues. It's not a power he needs to activate. It's always on.
Even if it was then the very first scene proves he has the propensity to do so.

Not that I don't believe you, I just don't remember. Show me these beams going through him. I might except lightning going through him. Lightning has an electric field associated with it. Vision is still electrical being, subject to electrical fields, even while intangible.

My argument is multifaceted. Attacking one part doesn't change the outcome. You have to destroy ALL POINTS.

If its always on, why were Hawkman and the others able to hit him? Your talking out of your butt on that one.

As for the rest of it, i'm not going back a looking at his appearances. He did it a bunch in Wandavision and theres other examples in the Avenger movies.

Fiction inconsistency. Perception speed is like durability. You can't turn it off. Common sense really.

You claimed he can make energy beams phase through him. Prove it. I've never seen that.

Lastly, unless you defeat all points (not one or some) then I still win the debate.

And yet every character with speed turns it off constantly. Flash, Quicksilver, Superman, etc,,,.

How you perceive is affected by ones capacity to focus and unfocus. Focus on a particular thing can leave you distracted from others, especially when in deep focus. Als emotions and state of mind play a role in this ability.

According to H1, focus and perception is always on and people and characters never get distracted.

It was never stated that these specific character have synchronous multi-focusing mental abilities. I guess they could, but it doesnt make sense based on their feats.

Yet they don't. It's called "FICTION INCONSISTENCY “.
I can show you multiple examples where both Flash and Superman were casually talking or chilling and not concentrating on anything when a bullet was fired. They easily reacted in time.

The fight will begin with BA statuing the team. The only one who can distract him is QS. QS is team 2 only hope.

And when characters are fighting to the best of their ability where plot doesn't exist (aka Full Capacity) then clearly any character will have their speed perceptions activated before the bell assuming they are not always on.
