The Beekeeper

Starring: Jason Statham, Josh Hutcherson, Minnie Driver and Jeremy Irons

YouTube video

Haha I swear, Statham’s one of those actors I’d watch read a phone book. 😆

Who comes up with these ideas? 80' was all about undercover cops. 90' ninja's. 2000' super powers and now 2024' undercover assassins. Equalizer, taken etc.

Bee keeper 😆 He might as well be the garbage man

Looks shit

NOT THE BEES!

YES THE BEES!

This film comes out this week

I don't really have much interest in watching Jason Statham being Jason Statham again and again.

Aw but he’s such a cool guy!

I'd be interested in this film if it was Statham being a normal bee keeper who leads a normal to kinda boring life of tending his bees, collecting honey and selling it at the side of road.

Maybe he has an interest in jazz or something.

That would be awesome. And then he like, puts bees on his junk like Steve-O...

Saw this tonight and it was all sorts of ridiculous, stupid cheesy fun. Could've had a bit more extremity to the violence but all things considered it was braw. Always good when an action movie makes you smile.

I've heard it this is somewhat decent and not the total shit show people were expecting.

Anymore extreme violence and it would've turned into a satire. He was
Spoiler:
chopping off fingers with band saws, jabbing shotgun barrels into necks, chopping people in half with elevators and dogging a knife through a guys cheek.

The car and bridge one was the best. It was 90% the way to satirical homage to 80s action movies anyway with the ridiculous antagonist escalation from scam call centre to

Spoiler:
President of the United States
as well as most of the other "bad guys" along the way. "G.o.a.t" suit, mad South African guy etc.

That was just pure comedy. I laughed so hard when I noticed the transition to crash dummy.

Agreed about the South African. He earned every dollar they paid him lol.

So you recommend??

^^^Dude, he said it was braw. You know braw is dope!

I don't know that's Scottish bastard's Scottishisms!

And a lot of people say "God is Dope", which makes me think dope isn't very good either.

"We're all stars now... in the Dope Show..."
