the hacking in ETM is simply DOS hacking
which isnt that hard (ever hear of netstat? best
tool in the world!! lol) anyway, its best to experiment
a lot. type 'help' first. then get ur bearings. if ur
new to this, a better way is to use the command prompt
on ur PC which emulates DOS and learn ur way around
that. afterwards, ETM should be no big deal.
Help needed very much
Hello everybody.
After redeaing much about Enter The Matrix I brought one yesterday. After installing (that went smoothly) I double clicked on the Enter the Matrix Icon, an option box opened. Everything seemed fine but the Resolution options are unavailable. As I click on play the game doesn't starts instead shows an error that is "FULL SCREEN MODE NOT FOUND" . I don't know exactly what to do and where to find help as the website itself is down.
My PC configuration is :
P IV 1.7 GHZ , Intel 845 GL Chipset Motherboard , 256 MB DDR RAM & 40 GB 7200 RPM Harddisk along with 52X CDROM running Windows 98 SE & Win XP Pro (I tried it on both OSs)
Also if this post is not on proper thread then kindly tell me where to post it.
If any body can help me then I will be very much thankful to him/her

Okay, I am running using Just about the same computeras you are, and It runs fine. Sounds Like you tried to reinstal it at one point, and the same problem should up... a missing file. Sounds like it is INSIDE the ETM CD, so I would return to where you bought (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me you kept the receit!!!)
Sp yeah, when I install my ETM, i have to do like, 4 times (there is a problem with each CD, 1 then 2, then 3, then 4) But I still get it to work. but if you are missing a file, then return it becasouse there is a problem with the GAME, you can alwasy look for the update for ETM and see if that works, then return it.

I think that the configuration file may have some error.
You know I brought this CD from different city other than mine so it will be difficult for me to return it soon. I will ask them for replacement but if there is any solution then I will be happy.
This is also correct that I have cancelled the setup one time on each OS due to some errors in reading CDs.
if you could send me the Matrix config File then I think this problem may be resolved.
