Homelander is in the 450-500 ton range per show dialogue, while that's incredibly low for a Superman-style hero, it's leagues above Captain America and Soldier Boy was comparable to HL in strength and durability.

As noted above, be close to Cap's fight with Loki. Cap landing hit after hit and SB just going "meh".
