Marvels

Saw this this afternoon, another homogenised Marvel movie. It's no worse than most... it's just bad.

Trash absolute trash.

it's certainly not good, but it's no worse than something like GotG3 or Quantumania. After a while these movies merge into one large steaming pile of shit.

What crack are you smokin', Whirly? I can understand some people's distaste for Vol. 3's treatment of animals (personally it all just looks like CGI to me, so I can easily get past it), but the film is objectively creative and entertaining, even managing to enhance the previous installments.

Marvels looks so uninteresting I'll probably never bother with it.

lol.. even the Critics Consensus on RT includes some pretty major flaws...

Critics Consensus: Funny, refreshingly brief, and elevated by the chemistry of its three leads, The Marvels is easy to enjoy in the moment despite its cluttered story and jumbled tonal shifts.

It's mediocre, but at least it's short? Lol, that's some high praise!

I know you like it PL. I just can't get into it, I've tried. It's got nothing to do with cruelty to CGI animals, unless it's the lack of in my opinion anything that makes any sense in the film. I know you like it, and we differ in opinion on that. It's just not a film I enjoyed and I think it was really just a film that hung on to the coat tails of the beloved, original, which I did enjoy.

I know a lot of comicbook folks don't like how Adam Warlock was handled, but that matters not at all to me. To me the core story between Rocket and the High Evolutionary worked very well.

you see, I could never get invested in Rocket. That said, I used to laugh when my oldest, who is about your age did Judo on his large tigger cuddly toy.

The first one wasn't good as well, only because it was between IW and Endgame.

what Superhero film post civil war actually is good? If we are being truly honest.

IW no doubt.

GotG3 was fun, that's all.

I liked Dr. Strange 2 more than I should purely because i'm a big Scarlet Witch fan, but thats on me. I would never argue it was good though.

It all started so well with the Dark Knight trilogy and Iron Man.
