Did you know there was an Omen TV series back in 2016? Lasted one season.

I barely remember the original film, though I'm pretty sure I watched it 20 years or so ago.

First Exorcist is excellent horror, despite the dated effects.

What followed was spoon-fed diarrhea. Not watched the newest 2023 film, but I suspect it's going to not be good.

Still, The Omen just never did anything for me. Mostly just bored me.

The third one is good, too.

I haven't seen any of the others, except I started the 2nd one and got too bored to continue, plus I hear it's just terrible.

And yeah, the new one isn't ALL bad, but it's bad enough to disqualify it from basically any credibility.

How many horror movies are actually scary though? Where you feel legit unease? Last one I can think of was Hereditary (2018) and there are far and few between.

I was a kid, like 8 when me and my cousins snuck into the theater to watch The Omen though, and it didn’t even scare me then.
I remember sitting there confused as to what my cousins and the audience in general were going on about.
