Achilles vs Perseus

Achilles (Troy)

vs

Perseus (Clash of the Titans)

Who wins?

Achilles.

LOL no. Perseus has far more impressive screen feats. He would win this fight mid difficulty.

Agree to disagree. 👆

That's it? "Achilles wins just cuz?"

LOL, no. Perseus took on and defeated the god of war, Ares. He is faster, stronger, and has a much higher damage soak than Achilles. Ffs he will swallowed by a used scorpion, and cut his way out of his guts with his sword.

Achilles is the better fighter, but Perseus is superhuman to the point that I am not sure Achilles would be able to hurt him much.

I haven't seen the movie with Perseus. Is he Hella resistant to bladed weapons and spears?

Troy is a far better movie, and Achilles has one of my favorite one-shot battles in movie history, but...

Perseus stomps. As stated here, his stats are superhuman and guarantee a win unless he just stands there and lets Achilles attack him.

Thinking of Clash of the Titans, what a classic example of a mythological action good bad fun flick? Great cast going from set to set and from CGI action sequence to CGI action sequence, hamming it up all over the place, solid direction from Louis Letterier. The memes with Liam Neeson saying, "Release the Kraken!" are worth the price of admission alone.

Again is Perseus resistant to bladed weapons. If say he were stabbed in the neck by a sword then what will happen? The sword will bend, brake, penetrate, etc?

Perseus' reactive spacetime shield would take the blade and automatically open a rift in reality behind Achilles' neck where his own blade would protrude from, stabbing him in his own neck.

Well that wouldn't be a fair fight now would it?
Spite thread then.
In the spirit of good debate.
We have Achilles as the better fighter and Perseus as better physical stats.
That's makes a good fight. Let's just keep it at that.
Both have swords or non spite weapons.
Otherwise what's the point?

Maybe you should watch Clash and Wrath of the Titans then.

Yeah, then you'd know that Achilles has no chance of beating a temporal anomaly like Perseus who is also described as being a "sentient dimension hopping black hole" by Zeus himself.

If he has an autoshield that blocks attacks as a sentient being then why not inform the OP of the spite? He'll I can beat Achilles in this situation.

If someone says Superman vs Daredevil. You just going to say Superman wins? That's pretty dumb

Imo, the OP wants Perseus to fight without such hax weaponry.
In other words, I believe you are wrong here.

I actually watched the 1st movie when it came out in theaters. But that is the only time I saw it. I remember nothing except that Perseus WASN'T RESISTANT TO CUTTING WEAPONS. I basically acted dumb and pretended to not know that.

Basic weaponry indeed. It's true that Perseus beats monsters and characters above his paygrade, but mostly due to plot convenience, not so much due to true superhuman stats. He's still vulnerable to regular weapons, so fighting someone as skilled as Achilles who is not doomed to lose for plot reasons, shouldnt make this all too onesided.

Your acting is top-notch

this works both ways. Add on the fact that Perseus was faster than achilles, and he had far superior weaponry and armor, and he was the literal son of zeus, and........ Well, I'm sure you took math in school. Perseus obliterates.
