I don’t think a random thought bubble from a single silver age or golden age comic that is in direct contradiction to his entire history is proof that unhinges on panel and ohotmu. He’s just a giant strong man and effective fighter that allows him to use all his speed, power and leverage. The bulk of his wild feats were silver age though, prior to OHOTMU giving writers a baseline.He’s meant to be “peak human” for a guy that’s the size of Halfthor Bjornson.
Meanwhile Bane is decidedly not human power. He can jump to the top of a lighthouse from the ground, can run as fast as a car on the highway and lift 15 tons.
Bane has some nice feats, yes. He's no Kingpin, but he's still cool.

I didn't "insist" on anything. You mentioned Daredevil as if it implies anything. I shrugged and said everybody has low showings. Losses are low showings. It doesn't matter to me how you categorize it.

Tombstone has a lot of low showings though. He hasn't really been formidable since his early days as a Spidey rogue.
I mean Luke Cage kicked his ass how many times in that stupid early 90's comic where he wore skinny jeans? Plus Matt and the sledgehammer, plus the Fisk I just showed you, plus that time Shang Chi took him (I don't really remember that he did but I bet it happened)
Bane jobs to Azbats and he gets taken down with a super convoluted setup where he's tackled off a cliff, or loses his footing on a train and eats a kick, Lonny simply gets taken down.
