Captain Atom vs Magik

1. In the normal space.

2. In Magik's domain.

Who wins?

well he definitely loses in limbo and i think i'd take her more often than not in normal space too. she's more than she used to be and at the VERY least would bfr him 100/100. but i think with her rest of her spell casting she could take him. he's not terribly effective against magic from what i recall...

Actually he's supposed to be immune to magic. 😀

Least that's what they said around the post Countdown to Final Crisis when he lost his memory post Monarch and was in Amathests world I think. It was a backup story, was said to be completely impregnable to magic.

Anti-Magic: An effect of Captain Atom's Dilustel coating coupled with his exposure to the Quantum Field affords Nathaniel not only Immunity to magical powers and spell craft.[11] But also allows him to outright negate the effects of it in general through their use.[12]

Atom.

huh. that's interesting. do not recall that at all. could have sworn he'd had a couple poor showings v magic. thanks. i'll check that out. 👆

Leo, it was a setup. Cdtm knew that Nate was immune to magic, which is probably why he made this thread. It's like asking who would Sandman or Hydroman.

I did know and it wasn't a setup.

Because I know absolutely nothing about Magik, and assumed she had dealt with anti-magic fields (It's an obvious trope, must have happened once or twice) or that her soulsword whatever it's called could bypass it.

If not my bad, but it's not like I knew this would trump her.
